My first blog post on my new website! It took some time to get this page up and running, so I am going to be marathon blogging for the next week or so. We are going WAY back to April, to Brittany & Josh’s Engagement Session.
This was such a fun session for so many reasons. First, Brittany and Josh wanted to start their session at their brand new (to them!) house. And that house, just happened to be about a block away from OUR house! We moved a couple weeks later but we can at least say we were neighbors for a couple weeks. I also think it is kind of cute that they are starting their marriage in the same neighborhood we started ours. I got ready in our old house for our wedding, so I will always have those good memories. I will remember being so scattered in the morning that I forgot to take the breakfast casserole out of the microwave that I had made the day before. How my nephews played with their toys on our ottoman while our hair and makeup were getting done. How I stood in the kitchen really just wanting a cold adult drink, but how my stomach wouldn’t chill out long enough for that to happen. How my dad drove me from there to the church and we stopped at a little girls lemonade stand and just made her day. Lots of wonderful memories and I know they will have some wonderful ones too.
After their house, they decided they wanted to go to where it all began for them, the mall! These two met when they were teenagers and had their first meet up at the mall. Their parents had to drop them off and everything 🙂 How cute!

I am so excited for their wedding this October. These two are so sweet and I just KNOW will have an amazing marriage.
